Overview
SODOO Spreadsheet is a powerful spreadsheet tool designed for analysing your business data. While offering an interface similar to Excel or Google Sheets, it lets you report in real time by connecting live to your SODOO database.
Live Data
Pull live data from your SODOO modules (Sales, Accounting, Inventory).
Powerful Formulas
Do complex calculations and analyses with 200+ functions.
Pivot Tables
Summarise and analyse your data along different dimensions.
Charts
Visualise with line, bar, pie and more chart types.
The User Interface
The Spreadsheet interface offers a familiar experience to those used to classic spreadsheet programs:
Data Sources
Spreadsheet can pull data directly from various SODOO modules:
Adding Data
To add data to the spreadsheet, use the Insert SODOO Data option from the Data menu. In the window that opens:
- Choose the data source (e.g. Sales Orders)
- Define the filters (date range, state etc.)
- Choose the fields to show
- Set the sorting and grouping
Data pulled from SODOO is live-linked. Changes in the source data are reflected in the spreadsheet automatically. If you want to freeze the data at a given moment, use the "Snapshot" option.
Formulas and Functions
SODOO Spreadsheet offers a large function library compatible with Excel and Google Sheets:

ODOO-Specific Functions
In addition to the standard spreadsheet functions, there are SODOO-specific functions:
=ODOO.LIST("sales_orders", "amount_total", "customer_id = 123")
=ODOO.PIVOT("sales_pivot", "January", "Total")
=ODOO.FILTER("products", "qty_available", "category = 'Electronics'")
Pivot Tables
Pivot tables are a powerful tool for summarising large data sets and analysing them from different angles.
| Category | January | February | March | Total |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Electronics | 145.000 ₺ | 162.500 ₺ | 178.200 ₺ | 485.700 ₺ |
| Furniture | 89.000 ₺ | 112.000 ₺ | 95.500 ₺ | 296.500 ₺ |
| Stationery | 23.500 ₺ | 28.700 ₺ | 31.200 ₺ | 83.400 ₺ |
| TOTAL | 257.500 ₺ | 303.200 ₺ | 304.900 ₺ | 865.600 ₺ |
Creating a Pivot Table
- Rows: The grouping dimension (e.g. Category, Customer)
- Columns: Time or a second dimension (e.g. Month, Region)
- Values: The measure (e.g. Total Amount, Quantity)
- Filters: Data restriction (e.g. Year = 2026)
Charts
You can use various chart types to present your data visually:
Line Chart
Ideal for time-series data and trends.
Bar Chart
The best option for category comparisons.
Pie Chart
Used to show ratios and share distributions.
Area Chart
Shows cumulative changes and stacking.
Charts keep the live data connection. Changes in the source data are reflected in the charts automatically, so your reports are always current.
Keyboard Shortcuts
Frequently used keyboard shortcuts for working efficiently:
Sharing and Collaboration
You can share your spreadsheets with team members and edit them together:
Sharing Options
- View: Read-only permission
- Edit: Full editing rights
- Comment: Can add comments, cannot edit
- Link: Public or restricted link sharing
Real-Time Collaboration
Several users can work on the same spreadsheet at the same time. Other users' cursors and changes appear instantly.
Be careful when sharing spreadsheets with a live data connection. The recipient can access all the data shown in the spreadsheet.
